We are a private, voluntary organization made up of both ACTIVE and RETIRED Employees of the NC State Highway Patrol. Our purpose is to support NC Troopers and their families and to advance the principles of law enforcement in North Carolina and the USA.

Proceeds from this activity benefit the NC Troopers who dedicate themselves to your protection every day.

Programs and services that your contribution supports

For the Troopers and their families

• Educational Scholarships for Troopers and their families
• Medical Assistance
• Chaplain Assistance
• Maintain “In the Line of Duty” life insurance for Active Trooper members
• As-needed assistance to families of fallen Troopers and to Troopers who have had homes destroyed by fire or other catastrophes

In the Communitity

Bears Against Drugs (BAD) – A community safety program available for school age children, civic groups, daycare facilities and churches which includes education about:

• Stranger Danger
• Seatbelt and Airbag Safety
• How to Raise Drug-Free Kids
• How to Recognize If Your Child is Using Drugs
• Personal Trooper Experiences
• GED v. High School Diploma
• Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Students may receive Coloring Books, Stranger Danger info, Bear Stickers, Badges, Shoestrings, Child ID’s, rulers, car seat stickers or other gifts.
